Continuing Education Information for the 2025 Summit

Attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance with a record of each session they participated in.  Attendees are responsible for submitting the Certificates for CE credit to the appropriate boards.

Credit Designation
The Medical University of South Carolina designates this live activity for a maximum of 11.15 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Accreditation
The Medical University of South Carolina is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for Physicians.

In accordance with the ACCME Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education anyone involved in planning or presenting this educational activity will be required to disclose any financial relationships with any ineligible companies. NURSING

The SC Board of Nurses will honor 11.15 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ as approved by MUSC.

COUNSELORS 

The SC Board of Counselors will honor 11.15 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ as approved by MUSC.

 

SOCIAL WORKERS

The SC Board of Social Workers will honor 11.15 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ as approved by MUSC.

 

CHES/MCHES

The Summit has been approved for 8.5 entry-level/8.5 advanced-level CHEC through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC), Inc. The SCDPH-Region Operations & Community Engagement is an approved provider of continuing education credits for CHES/MCHES through NCHEC.

 

LAW ENFORCEMENT

The South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy has approved 14 hours of continuing education for Law Enforcement professionals.

 

ADDICTION PROFESSIONALS OF SOUTH CAROLINA

APSC will honor appropriate credits earned for certification/recertification, including for peer certifications

ATTORNEYS

The South Carolina Supreme Court Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization has approved 12.58 credit hours for CLE.  Attorneys must complete the Uniform Certificate of Attendance within 30 days to report any credits earned.
